Signed Plate. Author was past Poet Laureate of Texas. Anthology of previously published poems. No edition stated. Jacket is sunned on spine and edges. There is insect damage, mostly to edges, and some small stains as well as general wear. Gold cloth with black titles on spine and cover. Very slight soiling to cloth, otherwise near fine. Spot of foxing to front endpapers. Interior is clean. 51p.

Signed by the Author. A sticker on the inside cover states this volume was presented to the winner of the William E. Bard Award in February of 1988 for the poem entitled "Wind Came Screaming". The name of the author of this poem is not stated. The book is signed by W. E. Bard, President of the Poetry Society of Texas. Poems are inspired by the old and new west. Cover is in very good condition for a paperback. Heavy yellow paper with a black line drawing of a man at a campfire. Paper shows minimal edgewear. Very slight foxing to page edge. Interior shows a little wear. 38p.
